Scurrilous attacks on Obama

I received the following via one of those ever-forwarded email chains. How sad that a person’s faith is being attacked because they can’t attack the validity of his ideas and hopes for this country.

I want CheneyCare

The Repubs may criticize (or try to scare people with) “HillaryCare,” but I’d rather have CheneyCare. 

A nice win for Obama

Yep, I’m pretty pleased with last night’s results in Iowa. I watched a replay of Obama’s speech after the caucuses, and I gotta say the guy is good. I may end up being disappointed somewhere down the road, but I can easily support a candidate who says that we–the whole nation–can make our country a better place. He inspires hope. I just don’t get that from Edwards or Clinton.It’s a long primary season, of course, and a lot can change. If I have to vote for Clinton and hold my nose while doing so, fine. All I know is that if we elect any of these Republican front-runners, it’s going to be four more years of Bush’s policies. We can’t afford that.
